Denise Nonelle, APRN, FNP-BC
Denise Nonelle hails from Brooklyn, NY, growing up “bi-coastally” in both California and New Jersey. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio-Television and Film from the University of Maryland which began a 15-year career in the TV industry.
She worked on Capitol Hill for C-SPAN and CNN as an Associate Producer, Field Producer, and Master Control Operator, producing live-television programming with world-leaders, the famous, and the very infamous.
She then worked in California as a Meeting and Event Planner for PROMAX and BDA which included major conferences in the US, Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia.
Denise became interested in health in 2003 starting by training as a licensed massage therapist and working in that field for Florida College of Natural Health. She formed her own company, Tissue Issues, that worked in-home with the elderly population.
She then received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, followed by a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Miami, and is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
Her clinical experience has ranged from hospital intensive care, intermediate medical care, transplant and emergency room to ambulatory cardiology and ambulatory internal medicine. She has worked at Florida Hospital Orlando as well as ambulatory practices in South Florida. In this process, she has learned both conventional nursing as medicine as well as approaches in integrative and functional medicine.
She currently lives in Hollywood with her husband Mike, a franchise consultant, and her rescue dog (and nap-a-holic), Molly.
