Rezilir Health can help you with intravenous infusionsdesigned to support your body with the nutrient boosts you require. We also can measure your nutrients and metabolic profileand use this to customize a specific program to help restore your health.

What are Infusions? If you’re like most people, you probably don’t consume your daily dose of vitamins and minerals, let alone experience their valuable benefits. Infusions safely and comfortably deliver concentrated natural vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly to your bloodstream, where they can immediately nourish and rejuvenate cells and tissue.

Each IV session enhances your energy, improves your overall mood, and helps prevent future health conditions caused by stress, malnutrition, and dehydration.

Why Infusions? When you take vitamins and supplements by mouth, not all of the nutrients are absorbed and used by your body. This is especially true if you have a chronic illness or gastrointestinal issues, such as an injured gut lining. It is also true if you require a jump start.

With infused vitamins, 100% of the nutrition reaches your cells, bypassing the gut and allowing maximum absorption. It’s fast. The infusion quickly enters your bloodstream, healing and restoring at the cellular level.

Many situations create a need for higher levels of nutrition in the body: recent illness, a challenging workout, air travel, a hard day at work or chronic stress depletes the body of nutrients and requires replenishment to restore balance and function.

When your cells and tissues have the nutrition needed for repair and optimal performance, you feel better, have more energy, fight off colds and flu easier and enjoy physical and mental well-being.

The Early Beginnings of IV Therapy

Intravenous therapy delivers certain types of fluids, medications, and nutrition directly into a person’s vein. Also referred to as IV Therapy or IV Drip, this method is the fastest way to deliver a fluid replacement or medication throughout the body.

One of the most common uses is IV for Dehydration. But before we get into that, let’s jump into the history of IV Therapy.

According to the National Library of Medicine, “it was known that medications could be injected into a vein as early as the 1600s.” After several unsuccessful blood transfusions, it wasn’t until 1831 when Thomas Latta studied “saline-like-solutions” that were proven to help those suffering from Cholera. This started a long line of experiments with liquids, including egg yolk, honey, milk, and sugar.

With further research led by other notable physicians through the next century, IV Treatment was finally considered a concept for nutritional supplementation. By the 1960s, it became widely available, and feeding nutritional needs to those who fell ill through an IV Drip was ultimately accepted.

As Millam D. states in his research from 1996, “Two world wars brought in the era of modern IV therapy. However, the greatest advance in drugs, equipment, and procedures has occurred in the past 25 years.

Fast forward to today…

Today, IV Drips are commonly used for hangover treatments, rehydration for athletes, nutritional infusions, and adequate vitamin intake. If you’ve ever been to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or Miami, you’ve probably noticed advertisements for curing a hangover in less than an hour by hopping on a bus, going to a lounge and getting some IV Therapy. This is the fastest way to rehydrate the body, which helps cure a hangover.

Due to the pandemic, these types of IV Therapy buses are not commonly seen anymore. These services are now done in the comfort of your hotel or a clinic. If you live in Florida, visit our IV Lounge in Miami for a fantastic IV therapy treatment.
